Cabling & Bracing

Unfortunately, trees sometimes develop severe structural weaknesses that could lead to major damage or complete destruction of the entire tree.

Cabling

The staff at L.E. Savory Tree Service will install strong cable, of a diameter suitable for the tree size, between the main stems. Placed high in the tree, this extra support helps to prevent damage from high winds and excessive snow or ice build up.

Bracing

Bracing of weak or split crotches involves the placement of metal rods through the trunk, coupled with cables high up in the trees' canopy. This helps prevent further splitting or twisting of the trunk.
