Acid Loving Fertilizer

A great majority of landscapes in our area feature at least a few acidic soil loving plants, such as rhododendrons, azaleas, holly, hemlocks, and dogwoods. Spring time is so much better because of the abundant flower display put by these plants, not to mention the attractive foliage throughout the season.

Trees and shrubs in this category thrive in soil that has a pH leaning toward the acidic end. It is also recommended that you provide a protectant covering to the foliage of evergreen shrubs to prevent burning of the leaves in the winter time.

To compliment our miracid program, we can apply this waxy coating to the foliage in late fall, in order to prevent dehydration and dieback.
